TS Degree Online Service (DOST) 2021 UG Admissions Notification Ist Phase Selected Candidates/Seat Allotment list at dost.cgg.gov.in
Applications are invited through online mode for
registration at dost.cgg.gov.in and admissions into various undergraduate courses, such as B.A.,
B.Com., B.Sc., B.B.A., B.C.A., etc. offered by various undergraduate colleges
affiliated to Telangana University, Osmania, Kakatiya, Mahatma Gandhi, Satavahana and Palamuru Universities which includes Constituent, Government,
Aided, Autonomous and Private colleges for the academic year 2021-2022. However,
the interested candidates can also apply to the colleges of six universities (Telangana,Osmania, Kakatiya, Mahatma Gandhi, Satavahana and Palamuru
Universities).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The candidates who have passed Intermediate Examination, Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State or any equivalent recognized examination from other boards / states are eligible to apply.
The registration fee for applying to the colleges / courses of each university is Rs.100/- (one hundred only), which can be paid through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking. Only one online registration is sufficient for all the colleges / courses of one or more Universities. For online application and for further details, visit the domain: http://dost.cgg.gov.in
The respective universities are responsible for the admission under their jurisdiction
- Candidates seeking admission to Ist year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.(Gen/Computers/Comp.Appln.)/B.Com.(Voc)/BSW /BBA /BBM/BCA Degree courses must have passed Two year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State OR an Examination of any other University/Board recognized as equivalent thereto (other than Pre-Degree course in Oriental Languages of OU).
- In respect of the candidates, who have passed Intermediate(Vocational) courses from Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State and +2 examination conducted by Boards other than Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana State ICSE and CBSE, the Principals of respective colleges should ensure that the candidates shall submit Eligibility Certificate issued by Board of Intermediate, Telangana State Further, the admissions made without obtaining Eligibility Certificate will not be considered by the University and such admissions shall deemed to be cancelled automatically and the College Management will be held responsible for such violation.
- The Candidates who have passed Intermediate (Vocational) Medical Lab Technology Course from Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State/or from any other state equivalent to it are eligible for admission into B.A. /B.Com courses only. However, those who are holding ‘Bridge course’ along with Intermediate (Vocational) Medical Lab Technology are eligible for B.Sc. courses
- Admissions to Ist year of the 3-year Degree courses will be made in order of merit as shown by aggregate marks secured by the candidates at the qualifying examination in one attempt.
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in parts shall be considered for admission, only after all the candidates under category (a) above are accommodated.
- In case of a tie based on the aggregate marks, the marks secured by the candidates in the optional subject, English Language, Date of Birth (Age) will be taken into consideration.
- Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. I year course should have passed and secured an aggregate of 40% marks (a Pass Percentage in case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes) in the concerned Science Subjects (i.e. Physical Sciences and Mathematics OR Physical Sciences, and Biological Sciences as the case may be) at the qualifying examination. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with Arts/Commerce subjects are not eligible for admission to B.Sc. course.
- Candidates who have passed Intermediate examination with Mathematics, Economics and Commerce combination can be considered eligible for admission to (Maths, Statistics and Computer Science) combination of B.Sc only.
- Candidates who have passed qualifying examination with Science /Arts / Commerce subjects are eligible for admission to B.A./B.Com.(Gen / Computers/ Comp. Appln.) / BSW / BBA / BBM/BCA courses.
- Candidates seeking admission to BSW course should have secured not less than 40% marks in aggregate at the qualifying examination.
- While calculating the percentage of marks for admission, 0.5 and above be treated as 1 (i.e.39.5% and above shall be treated as 40%)
- 60% of the total number of seats available in B.Com in any college shall be reserved for Candidates who have studied and passed the qualifying examination with Commerce subject in OU,TU,MGU and Palamur University.
- 50% of the total number of seats available in B.Com in any college shall be reserved for Candidates who have studied and passed the qualifying examination with Commerce subject in Kakatiya and Satavahana Universitis.
- 50% of seats in B.A. course are reserved for the candidates who have studied at least one subject under Social Sciences or Humanities at the Intermediate level in all six Universities.
- Candidates passed qualifying examination through a medium other than English and desirous of studying B.A./B.Com.(Gen / Computers/ Comp. Appln.) / B.Com.(Hons.)/ BSW / BBA / BBM/BCA courses shall be allowed to do so without stipulating any condition as to the marks secured by them in English at the qualifying examination.
RESERVATION OF SEATS FOR SCs/STs/BCs:
There shall be reservation of seats for SCs, STs & BCs
as follows:
- Scheduled Castes A total of 15% of seats shall be reserved for Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes Category.
- Scheduled Tribes A total of 6% of seats shall be reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes Category.
- Backward Classes A total of 29% seats shall be reserved for the candidates in respect of B.C. candidates as shown below:
- Group - A 7%
- Group - B 10%
- Group - C 1%
- Group - D 7%
- Group - E 4%
- Total - 29%
Information Bulletin:-
- All the candidates who wish to apply for undergraduate programme should strictly register online.
- The whole process of admission will be monitored by the respective university.
- The Programme extends for a period of six semesters of three years duration.
- The Programme of study will be by regular attendance for the required number of credits/lectures, practical/tutorials.
- Please proceed to fill in the Online Application Form only after thoroughly following the instructions.
- Applicants aspiring to take admissions need to apply in respective Colleges of their choice.
- Be ready to upload all the required documents mentioned in the relevant sections.
- Remember to make a note of your SSC and Intermediate hall ticket numbers and Aadhar Card number.
You may choose as many Colleges you would like to apply for. (All the Colleges you choose should be under the purview of the University you select. If you would like to apply for a College affiliated to a different University, you have to once again pay Rs 100/- as registration fee.)
You may choose as many options you like, but choose according to your eligibility.
Choose your Courses carefully. (Choose only the Courses which you would like to pursue. If you choose a Course and a seat is allotted and you do not take admission, then the seat would be a waste of opportunity. The another student may be denied of his/her opportunity. Never opt for the course/college which you will not join because you may get seat in any one of the given option)
The procedure consists of the following steps:
- Entering the personal details and qualifying exam details
- Remitting the Registration fee by using credit card/debit card/net banking
- Filling in the Application Form
- Uploading the required certificates and photo
- Verifying the Application Form
- Taking a printout of the Application Form
- Submitting the Application Form
Note: Your application will be activated only after you complete the application form with all the required details.
After completion of the online registration, the candidate should take a printout of the Application Form which she/he has to submit in the College where the seat is allotted.
The list of the selected students will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam and roaster system.
The student who completes his Intermediate Course compartmentally will be given second preference to the student who completes the Course in one attempt, though he secures the same percentage of marks.
Reporting at the College and Verification of Certificates:
- She/he should report at the allotted College with the following certificates The printout of the Application Form
- A Certificate to prove the date of birth
- Transfer Certificate from the Institute last attended
- Marks Memo of the Intermediate Examination
- Other eligibility certificates as the case may be, like Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Migration Certificate (if applicable)
- Any other documents required to be produced to the College
- Candidates who do not take admission on the prescribed dates will lose his/her claim for admission.
- Prescribed fee has to be paid at the time of admission.
- Any other item not specifically mentioned in this bulletin will be decided by Universities and Government.
