ORDER:
1.In the G.O. 6th read above, Government after examination
of the matter, permitted the Principal, Sree Sai Dental College & Research
Institute, Srikakulam for Clinical Attachment of their Dental College with
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Srikakulam for teaching and
training of their 3rd year BDS students for a period of five (5) years, as per
the terms and conditions specified by the Government in the G.Os.1st to 5th
read above and such other conditions as may be prescribed by the Government
from time to time in this regard and also shall pay an amount of Rs25,000/- per
annum per student for all payment seats to RIMS, Srikakulam towards fee for
utilization of clinical facilities for getting training of the students during
the period for which permission is valid.
2. In the letter 7th read above, the Director of Medical
Education, Hyderabad has reported that the Director, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of
Medical Sciences, Srikakulam has forwarded the representation of the Principal,
Sree Sai Dental College & Research Institute, Srikakulam and stated that
they are having No objection in according permission for clinical attachment of
1st and 2nd year BDS Students of Sree Sai Dental College & Research
Institute, Srikakulam with Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences,
Srikakulam. The Director of Medical Education, AP, Hyd has further stated that
Sree Sai Dental College & Research Institute, Srikakulam is promoted by
Sree Sai Educational Society, Srikakulam and the said college has started BDS
course with an annual intake of 100 BDS admissions, vide G.O.Ms.No.08,
HM&FW(E1) Dept, Dated: 11-1-2002 and the Government of India has issued
Gazette Notification, vide No. V.12017/36/2002-DE, Dated:24-6-2008 recognizing
the BDS Degree awarded by Dr. NTRUHS, Vijayawada in respect of students being
trained at Sree Sai Dental College & Research Institute, Srikakulam.
3. The Director of Medical Education, AP, Hyd has,
therefore, requested to issue necessary orders on the request made by the
Principal, Sree Sai Dental College & Research Institute, Srikakulam for
according Clinical Attachment of 1st and 2nd year BDS students with Rajiv
Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Srikakulam.
4. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby
permit the Principal, Sree Sai Dental College & Research Institute,
Srikakulam for Clinical Attachment of their Dental College with Rajiv Gandhi
Institute of Medical Sciences, Srikakulam for teaching and training of their
1st and 2nd year BDS students for a period of five (5) years, as per the terms
and conditions specified by the Government in the G.Os.1st to 5th read above
and such other conditions as may be prescribed by the Government from time to
time in this regard and also shall pay an amount of Rs.25,000/- per annum per
student for all payment seats to RIMS, Srikakulam towards fee for utilization
of clinical facilities for getting training of the students during the period
for which permission is valid
5. The Director of
Medical Education, AP, Hyderabad shall take necessary action accordingly.
