TS PUBLIC SERVICES – Direct Recruitment – Raising of upper age limit by 3 years for the ensuing recruitments through Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board - Orders – Issued.

1. G.O.Ms.No. 315, Home (Police. C) Dept., dated. 13-10-1999 and amendments issued from time to time. 
2. G.O.Ms.No. 329, General Admn.(Services. A) Dept., dt. 27-07-2015 
3. From the Director General of Police, Telangana State, Hyderabad Lr No. 115/ Rect. /Admn-1/2015, dt.07 -11-2015. 

ORDER:

1.In the G.O. 2nd read above, Orders were issued for raising the upper age limit 
by 10 years for direct recruitment toprovide employment opportunities to the educated youth consequent on formation of State of Telangana for recruitment through Telangana State Public Service Commission and other recruiting agencies except for the posts of uniformed services. 

2. A number of representations have been received from unemployed youth and also from the Public representatives for considering relaxation of upper age limit for direct recruitment in Police department to enable more un-employed youth to 
become eligible to compete in the recruitment process of Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board and the matter has been referred to the cabinet sub-
committee and the sub-committee reviewed the matter and made certain recommendations. 

3. The Director General of Police, Telangana State, Hyderabad vide reference 3rd read above, has submitted his recommendations for raising the upper age limit for  direct recruitment to the uniformed posts in Police department, Special Protection Force, Fire Services and Prisons department through Telangana State Level Police 
Recruitment Board. 

4. Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby decided to raise the upper age limit by 3 years for the ensuing direct recruitments in various categories of posts to be notified by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board. 

5. Accordingly, the following notification shall be published in the Telangana Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Telangana here by make the following Adhoc rule, namely:- 

ADHOC RULE

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Special or Adhoc rules for the recruitment in Police department, Special Protection Force, Fire Services and Prisons department, the maximum age limit prescribed in the said rules for appointment by direct recruitment shall be raised by (3) years for a period of one year from the date of issue of G.O. to the various categories of the posts to be notified for the purpose of direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board.
