G.O.MS.No. 59 Dated: 11-04-2016 

Read the following:- 

  1. G.O.Ms.No.141 MA & UD Department dated 13.8.2014. 
  2. G.O.Ms.No.599 MA & UD Department dated 14.9.2015. 
  3. Lr.No.2 MD, AMRC, Vijayawada dated 19.9.2015 addressedto the Principal Secretary to Govt., MA & UD Dept.,

ORDER: 

1.In order to reduce the high density of traffic in Vijayawada city, Government in MA & UD Department have issued orders to create a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) in the reference 1st read above. In the reference 2nd read above, Government have decided that the Special Purpose Vehicle for Vijayawada Metro Rail Project henceforth be calledas Amaravati Metro Rail Corporation Limited and also appoint Sri N.P. Rama Krishna Reddy, Special Secretary to Government (Retd.) who is well acquainted and successfully implemented the major infrastructure projects in Transport, Roads & Buildings and Infrastructure & Investment Departments in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, as Managing Director for Amaravati Metro Rail Corporation for a period of 3 years. In the reference 3rd read above, the Managing Director, Amaravati Metro Rail Corporation has requested the Government for sanction of the following (15) fifteen minimum posts on deputation/ outsourcing immediately to run the AMRC.



2.After careful examination of the proposal of the MA & UD Department, the Government hereby accord for sanction of (15) posts to Amaravati Metro Rail Corporation Limited, Vijayawada. The MA & UD Department shall take further necessary action accordingly.
