In the reference second read above,
orders were issued extending the validity of all permanent/temporary/supernumerary
posts in the local, District, Zonal and Multi-Zonal cadres situated in the geographical
jurisdiction of the State of Andhra Pradesh, along with the State cadre posts allocated to the State
of Andhra Pradesh by Government of India in accordance with the provisions of Andhra
Pradesh Reorganization Act 2014, until February 29, 2016. In the reference fourth read
above all posts continued in the said Government Order
(GO) were further continued up to
February 28, 2017
The Government hereby order that all
posts continued in the Government Order (GO) fourth read above be continued up to
February 28, 2018. Similarly all posts created / upgraded / modified to the overall establishment
of Andhra Pradesh Government on and after February 29, 2016 are also hereby ordered to be
continued until February 28, 2018.
However, the Departments concerned shall
send separate proposals for continuation of temporary posts sanctioned to the Land
Acquisition Units, Projects with small gestation period like APWSIP etc., and the posts
sanctioned in connection with conduct of elections to the state and central Legislatures and the Local
Bodies. Further continuation of these posts will be examined on a case-by-case basis.
Further continuation orders issued in
paragraph-2 above shall not apply to the outsourcing / contract posts that might
have been sanctioned along with the regular posts in some Government Orders.
Further continuation orders issued in
paragraph-2 above shall also not apply to offices/Institutions which have not been
bifurcated between the two successor States as per the provisions of the AP Reorganization Act.
