A.P. Private Medical/Dental Un-aided Non-Minority Professional Institutions (Admissions into Post Graduate Medical / Dental Courses / Super Specialty Courses) Rules, 2013 Amendment  as per G.O.Ms.No.69 , Dated: 21-04-2017.

2. G.O.Ms No.50, HM&FW (E1) Department, Dated: 19/05/2015.
3. From Registrar, Dr.NTRUHS, Vijayawada, Lr.No. 1062/EA2/PG/2017,   Dated: 13/03/2017.

In the letter 3rd read above, the Registrar, Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada has reported that as per the Indian Medical Council Act.1956 and Dentist’s Act, 1948 as amended from time to time, NEET – PG / MDS is a single window Entrance Examination, either at State or Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG and Diploma courses w.e.f. Admission session – 2017

In view of the above, the Registrar, Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences in the letter 3rd read above has requested for amending G.Os 1st and 2nd read above.

The Government after careful consideration of the matter has decided to issue amendments to AP Private Medical / Dental un-aided Non-Minority Professional Institutions (Admissions into Post Graduate Medical / Dental Courses / Super Specialty Courses) Rules 2013.

Accordingly, the following notification shall be published in the Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, Dated:26.04.2017:-

N O T I F I C A T I O N

In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 3 and 15 of the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Prohibition of Capitation Fee) Act, 1983 (A.P. Act No: 5 of 1983), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to A.P. Private Medical/Dental Un-aided Non-Minority Professional Institutions (Admissions into Post Graduate Medical / Dental Courses / Super Specialty Courses) Rules, 2013 issued in G.O.1st read above.

In the said Rules,

• Rule 3(vi) shall be deleted.
• For rule 4(v)(a), the following shall be substituted:

4(v) (a)“ A final Merit list of candidates shall be prepared on the basis of percentile in National Eligibility – cum – Entrance Test for Post Graduate courses and same shall be displayed on the notice board of the college and their respective college website and be sent to the Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences for approval. The college shall admit the candidates strictly in the order of merit shown in the approved Merit list”
