The Chief Commissioner of State Tax, A.P., in his letter read above, hasstated that the IT Technical advisory Consultants are required to analyze theIT infrastructure in the department and GST Data analysts to conduct researchon data from various sources and disseminate research findings
through various reports.
With regard to the Consulting Agency for Goods and ServiceTax matters, the consulting agency will advise on all issues related to GSTon Goods and Services viz
(i) Training of CT Dept., Officers on various
aspects of GST,
(ii) issuing technical advice on any issue arising or referred at any time,
(iii) to advise department on various ways to arrest leakages.,
iv) Providing inputs to the departments in conducting audits and more emphasisis on service tax as service tax so far was under the purview of CentralGovernment. Therefore, he has requested the Govt. to accord administrativesanction in the matter.
Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord administrative sanction to the Chief Commissioner of State Tax for an amountof Rs.60 Lakhs for two years for procurement of competent
individuals as Consultants for IT and also for an amount of Rs.60 Lakhs for
two years for procurement of competent individuals as GST Consultants for
Data Analysis. The above expenditure shall be met from the available budget underthe head of account 2040-00-001-00-01-280-284-other payments.
The Chief Commissioner of State Tax, A.P., Vijayawada shall take furtheraction accordingly.
This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance (FMU-REV, IC & ) Energy Department vide their U.O.No.45027/509/FMU-Rev/2017, dated08.01.2018.
