It is informed that as per RTE Act-2009 after constituted of the School Management Committee in the school, the Head Master/ Convener of the School Management Committee should conduct the SMC Meetings with elected Members every month and the minutes and decisions of the same shall be properly recorded and made available to the public. Conduct of SMC Meetings every month is essential for achieving goals of SSA Activities i.e Access, Enrollment, retention and quality of education.
Further it is also useful for monitoring the working of the school, utilization of grants, preparation of school development plan and for monitoring the implementation the Mid-Day Meal in the schools. In view of the above all the Mandal Educational Officers in the district are hereby instructed to issue instructions to all concerned Head Masters of their Mandals to conduct the SMC meetings every month without fail and see that minutes and decisions should be recorded.
Further the Mandal Educational Officers are also instructed to send the consolidated report of each school along with photos to the under singed without fail. Treat this as MOST URGENT.
