RECRUITMENT OF CONSTABLE/DRIVER AND CONSTABLE / DRIVER-CUM-PUMP-OPERATOR-(DRIVER FOR FIRE SERVICES) IN CISF - 2017 CLOSING DATE: 19-03-2018 (UPTO 05:00 PM)

Online Applications are invited from Male Indian citizens for filling up the following temporary posts of Constables/Driver & Constables/ Driver-Cum-Pump-Operator (Driver for Fire Services) in Central Industrial Security Force in the pay scale of
Level-3 in pay Matrix (Rs.21,700-69,100/-) (Pre-revised Pay Band - 1 Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/-) plus usual and admissible allowances to the Central Government employees from time to time.





They will be governed under CISF Act and Rules as well as Central Civil Services Rules applicable to other members of the Force and other Acts and Rules applicable from time to time. On appointment they shall be
entitled for the pension benefits as per the "New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme" applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government services with effect from 01-01-2004.

Category wise vacancies of Constable/ Driver and Constable/ DCPO-2017 are as under:-

  1. Constable/Driver - 344 (Current vacancies)
  2. Constable/ (Driver- 103 (Cum-Pump -Operator)


Note : -

The number of vacancies given above are tentative and may increase or
decrease at any time/stage of recruitment process, due to administrative reasons.

The revision in vacancies, if any, are likely to be notified at the later stages around written exam and/or at skill, medical exam stage or prior to declaration of final
selection result.

The candidates should submit only one application and they will be eligible for both Constable/Driver and Constable/DCPO. The candidate will give their 1st and 2nd preference for Constable/Driver and Constable/ DCPO.

The choice given at the time of submitting application will be final.

The recruitment will be conducted on all India basis.

The recruitment is open to all Male Indian Citizens only.

10% vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen in each category. In case the reserved vacancy remained unfilled due to non-availability of eligible or qualified candidates, the same will be filled by candidates from non-ex-servicemen category.

Reservation of SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen category is available as per extant Government orders.

While filling on-line application form, candidate must ensure to fill correct photo bearing identity Card Number in his application (i.e. AADHAR Number, Driving License, Voter ID Card, Identity Card issued by University/College or Income Tax Pan Card Number) and same will be produced at examination centre during each event. Biometric data of candidates will be generated during the 1ST stage of recruitment and utilized during recruitment process for verifying identity of candidates.

Candidates should bring their all original educational/caste /Driving License and other testimonials at the time of PET/PST, documentation & trade test for proper checking/ scrutiny. If any candidate fail to submit any requisite document in
support of his eligibility, his candidature will be rejected straight away and no appeal will be accepted against his rejection for conducting documentation for any other day.

The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent.

Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in Indian
Territory and abroad.

If any candidate fills wrong information in their application form or uploads fake photograph of any other person /celebrity or object or puts blank photo etc., suitable action will be taken against him as per provision under cyber-crime IT Act
2000.

Candidates of reserved category whose caste certificate is in following manner may be accepted as per prescribed certificate and the candidates may be allowed
to continue in recruitment process against vacancy of respective reserved category :-

  • A candidate who has applied for recruitment, indicating his category as SC/ST/OBC and fail to produce caste certificate at the time of PST, his candidature will be rejected straight away, for submitting false information.


The recruitment process will consist of Height Bar Test (HBT), Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation, Trade Test, Written Test and Medical Examination. The salient features of the recruitment are as under:-

  • Application from candidates will be accepted through ONLINE MODE only at CISF website https://cisfrectt.in. No other mode for submission of application is allowed.
  • Candidates should also not wait till the last date of application to avoid a situation where they are deprived to fill up application due to reasons of crash of website due to heavy influx of applications and delay attributable to technical errors.
  • Application fee @ Rs.100/- from General and OBC candidates will be charged Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee. All such candidates must submit requisite certificate in prescribed proforma from the competent authority to prove their status. Failing to produce certificate in the prescribed format will render their candidature to be cancelled at PET/PST stage itself.
  • The Call up letter/Admit card to the candidates will be uploaded on the website https://cisfrectt.in at each stage i.e. for PET/PST, documentation, Trade Test,
  • Written Test and Detailed medical examination during the recruitment process.


There will be two stages of recruitment before medical examination is as under:-

OMR/Computer based written examination which will be bilingual i.e. Hindi & English.
PET/PST, Documentation & Trade test.

Note:-

The sequence of the above two stages may interchange at the discretion of CISF due to administrative reasons/prevailing circumstances.

If written examination is conducted in the 1st stage, the number of candidates to be called for the 2nd stage would purely depend on merit in the written examination for which qualifying marks would be 35% for General and Ex-Serviceman and 33% for SC/ST /OBC. However it will not be mandatory to call all the qualified candidates in the written examination to the 2nd stage i.e. PET/PST,
Documentation and trade test.

The number of candidates to be called for 2nd stage would depend on total number of qualified candidates in the written examination with reference to the number of vacancies for each post and each category. Accordingly cut off marks would be prescribed for each category.

After completion of written examination a single combined and common merit list would be drawn for both the posts i.e Constable/Driver and Constable/DCPO.

Meritorious candidates will be selected for the post of Constable/ Driver and Constable/DCPO on the basis of the merit position from that single combined and common merit list as per the preference given by the candidates at the time of the submission of the online application. Therefore the candidates in their own
interest are advised to make their preferences carefully during submission of their online application as it will have impact on their final selection.

List of selected candidates Post wise and category wise will be uploaded in CISF
website.

The candidates who find place in the select list as per the available vacancy in each Post and category will be called for Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

The candidates will be medically examined in accordance with revised uniform guidelines for recruitment medical examination in CAPFs & AR issued vide MHA UO No. A.VI-1/2014-Rectt (SSB) dated 20th May'2015 and any other instructions issued by Govt. of India from time to time to assess their physical and medical
fitness.

Final selection will be made on the basis of merit in the written examination from amongst the candidates found fit in detailed medical examination & review medical examination.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

 Age :

Between 21 and 27 years. The crucial date for determining age limit will be
the closing date for receipt of application from the candidates i.e. 19-03-2018 including for the candidates of North East region.

Upper age upto 05 years is relaxable for those persons who had ordinarily
been domiciled in the State of J & K during the period from 1st Jan1980 to 31st Dec, 1989. The person claiming relaxation under this category should produce a certificate to the effect that they had been domiciled in the state of J&K during the period from 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989 from the District Magistrate within whose jurisdiction they had ordinarily resided or from any other authority designated in this behalf by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

The upper age limit is also relaxable to Government Servants including
serving CISF personnel upto 40 years in the case of General and OBC candidates and 45 years in the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates,  provided they have rendered minimum 03 years continuous service, completed
their probation period satisfactorily, maintained a punishment free record and  have minimum annual grading of above "Average" during the entire service.

Upper Age limit upto 5 years is also relaxable further to the children and
dependents of victims KILLED in the 1984 riots and communal riots of 2002  in Gujarat.  Children means (a) son (including adopted son) or (b) daughter (including  adopted daughter) Dependent family member means (a) spouse or (b) children
or (c) brother or sister in the case of unmarried victim who was wholly dependent on that victim at the time of his getting killed in the riots would be eligible.


NOTE:- 

This advertisement pertains to recruitment of Constable/Driver &
Constable/DCPO for male candidates therefore, only male children and male dependents of victims KILLED in the 1984 riots and communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat will only be considered.

In order to be eligible for upper age relaxation in this category, the applicant should produce a certificate to that effect from the concerned District Collector/ District Magistrate wherein the victim was killed.

In addition to the above upper age is further relaxable by 05 years in respect of SC/ST and 03 years in respect of OBC candidates as per Govt. orders.


Educational Qualification:


The candidate should have passed Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.

Educational certificate other than State Board/Central Board should be
accompanied with Government of India notification declaring that such
qualification is equivalent to Matric/ 10th class pass for service under Central  Government.
