AP KGBV Schools Upgradation of 26 KGBVs as Junior Colleges by starting Intermediate Course with M.P.C, Bi.P.C, M.E.C and C.E.C groups @ 40 Students each Permission accorded- Order as per G.O.Ms.No.12 Dated:06-02-2018.

In the reference 1st , 3rd and 5th read above, the State Project Director, SSA, A.P., has informed that in the minutes of the 2nd E.C. meeting of APSSA held on 04.03.2016, the proposal for offering Intermediate Course to the KGBVs has been discussed at length and unanimously opined that this measure of extending Intermediate Course at KGBVs will be pioneering initiative entire India and also ensure gender gap in a positive way and proposed to start the Intermediate Course. 

Therefore, the State Project Director, SSA, A.P has requested the Government to accord permission to upgrade the 26 KGBVs by starting Intermediate first year during the academic year 2018-19 and second year during the academic year 2019-20 with M.P.C, Bi.P.C, M.E.C and C.E.C with 40 students in each group. He has further informed that the GOI have accorded sanction for construction of additional accommodation in 171 KGBVs.

The civil works will be initially taken up in all 26 KGBVs from the funds sanctioned for 171 KGBVs with the approval of competent authority. Salaries to the faculty, Staff and diet charges to the borders i.e. first year 160 students and 2nd year 320 students will be met from the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan savings and Interest amount.

Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord permission to upgrade the 26 KGBVs mentioned in Annexure by starting Intermediate first year during the academic year 2018-19 and second year during the academic year 2019-20 with M.P.C, Bi.P.C, M.E.C and C.E.C with 40 students in each group.

The State Project Director, SSA, A.P shall take further necessary action accordingly in the matter.
