AP School Education Mid-Day Meal Scheme Supply of 5 eggs to School children during the academic year 2018-19 - Instructions issued as per Rc.No;51/MDM/2018 Date.25/07/2018.
The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the reference read above and they are informed that under Mid-Day Meal Scheme 3 eggs per week per child are being provided as additional food item. As per orders of Government issued in memo I. read above for the year 2017-18 the tender had been floated and the work of supply of eggs was allotted to the following three suppliers: 1. M/s M. Sridhar Babu, Nellore.
United Traders, Vizag 3. Sri Maruthi Agros, Srikakulam As per the work order for supply, the have supplied at the rate of 3 eggs per child per week for the academic2017-18. Vide proceedings 3rd read above existing supply of eggs to the t drren under MOM is resumed and continued as per Government orders 3ikka ad above for supply of eggs without interruption for a period of three mon from 01-07.2017.
Further, with an aim of enhancing eitZent, retention and attendance and simultaneously improving nutritional I mong children Government in its memo 4. read above has issued order or providing two more eggs in addition to 3 eggs, already being providedege children under Mid-Day Meal Scheme.
In view of the orders of Govemme 111 the District Educational Officers in the State are requested to ensure th 5 eggs are per week per child are provided to the children under MDM ediately. The District Educational Officers are further requested to ensur at
The supply of five eggs to the c13ilm start with immediate effect.
The eggs shall be served everQfrom Monday to Friday in a week. In case there is any holiday in those five days in any week, the eggs shall be served on Saturday also.
Necessary instructions are issued to all the SHGs/NGOs to provide 5 eggs to the children with immediate effect.
The existing procedure or guidelines such as supply the eggs as per NECC guidelines, colour stamping on the eggs, stamping "MDM-AP", time of delivery, place of delivery etc., shall be followed without any change.
The Teacher should check the quality and quantity of eggs as per also have to maintain stock register in the school.
The data Case there is any holiday in thouse five days in any week, the eggs shall be served on Saturday also. Necessary instructions are issued to all the SHGs/ NGOs to provide 5 eggs to the children with immediate effect. The vitiating procedure or guidelines such as supply the eggs as per NECC guidelines, colour stamping on the eggs, stamping "MDM-AP", time of delivery, place of delivery etc., shall be followed without any change.
The HM/Teacher should check the quality and quantity of eggs as per norms and also have to maintain stock register in the school. The data shall be uploaded in the mobile app, meant for MDM, everyday Further, all the District Educational Officers are informed that these orders are valid up to 30th September or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Besides, the individual firms are requested to commence the supply of five eggs to all the schools/ Centralised Kitchens, as the case may be, with immediate effect as per the terms and guidelines of the contract.
