AP Opening of PF accounts to the Teachers and Employees working in Municipal Management as per Rc.No:6125

To inviteyour attention to the reference la cited (copy enclosed). wherein the Government have ordered for opening of PF Accounts for Municipal Teachers and Municipal Employees working in all the Urban Local Bodies in the State (except GVMC & VMC).

In the refcrerux 2nd cited the Commissioner, PR & RD dept. AP Amaravathi and the Chief Executive Officer. Zilla Parishad Guntur has been requested to inform details on the procedure to be followed for opening and maintenance of PF Accounts, So far no reply has been received from them. Accordingly. they have informed that. in the first instance address a letter to the Director of Treasuries & Accounts and request to allot Head of Account to subscribe PP amounts and to obtain clear guidelines in this regard.

In view of the above, 1 request you to allot Head of Account for subscribing PF by Teachers & Employees of 108 ULBs and suggest the operational guidelines for opening of PP Accounts at State/DDO level and at STO level.

It is also informed that there are nearly 15.306 employees working in Municipal Management and Functionaries in 108 Urban Local Bodies.
