AP SE RMSA Release of funds for purchase of furniture and lab equipment in the sanctioned components under RMSA Phase Ill at School level in approved 376 Secondary Schools in the State Orders - Issued as per Rc.No.1089/RMSA-AP/2014-2 Dated: 25.05.2018.
All the concerned Head Masters 1 Head Mistresses 1 Principals of the identified (376) Secondary Schools for strengthening under RMSA Phase-Ill are informed that the Commissioner of School Education and Ex-
Officio Project Director, RMSA-AP, Ibrahimpatnam is pleased to accord for
sanction for an amount of Rs.376.00 Lakhs ( Rupees Three Cores Seventy Six Lakhs only) @ Rs.1.00 lakh to each of 376 Secondary Schools for procurement of Lab equipment under RMSA Phase-Ill where construction of Science Labs has been completed.
In this connection the amounts are released to the tune of Rs.376.00 Lakhs ( Rupees Three Cores Seventy Six Lakhs only) @
Rs.1.00 lakh to each of 376 Secondary Schools to the SMDCs concerned.
Further a list of items identified and recommended by the State Level committee for purchase of laboratory equipment which was scrutinized and finalized to the extent of Rs.1.00 lakh by NCERT Andhra
Pradesh for classes IX and X is also appended to these proceedings to
procure as per norms of RMSA specified above.
In view of the procurement to be done by the SMDCs at Secondary School level the District Collector and Chairman, Managing Committee RMSA is requested to constitute a committee with the following officers for
checking up of Quantity and Quality of procured items at School level received from the approved agency before making payment to the concerned through a cheque as per procedure. The Committee members should also see that the items are recorded in the Stock Registers and they should also certify in the registers that the materials are received in good condition:
The Head Masters of concerned Secondary Schools are also informed that any deviation in procurement of the above material and diversion of funds will be viewed seriously and action will be initiated as per CCA rules.
The Head Masters are further requested to submit a compliance report for utilization of funds released for this purpose to this office through DEOs.

- Executive Engineer, APEWIDC and another EE from any other Dept
- One member from District Industries Department
- District Educational Officer & Ex-Officio Project Co-Ordinator, RMSA.
- Head Master 1 Head Mistress 1 Principal of the concerned Secondary School as convener.
The Head Masters of concerned Secondary Schools are also informed that any deviation in procurement of the above material and diversion of funds will be viewed seriously and action will be initiated as per CCA rules.
The Head Masters are further requested to submit a compliance report for utilization of funds released for this purpose to this office through DEOs.
