The atten the District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the references read above. The Principal Secretary to Government, Environment, Forests, Science & Technology (Section-11) Department, Secretariat, Velagapudi, A.P has conducted video conference on 13.07.2018 from 11.00 AM to 12.30 PM as desired by the Hon'ble Minister, Environment, Forests, Science & Technology, A.P for successful implementation of VANAM-MANAM programme.
The Vanamahotsavam 2018 will be inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of A.P on 14.07.2018 in HIT College, Nuzividu, Krishna district. Further, in the video conference, the Hon'ble Minister, Environment, Forests, Science & Technology, A.P has directed all HODS to give necessary instructions to the districts and for active participation in the Vanamahotsavam 2018 and to make it grand successes the programme.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the State arc hereby requested to give necessary instructions immediately to the all Dy.E Os, MEOs and Headmasters / Correspondents, Private un-aided school managements to ensure participation of all their students and staff in the Vanamahostavam' 2018 on 14.07.2018 at their school premises only. As part of this the following may be ensured
Good number of saplings shall be planted in the School premises and taken care of properly. With the support of local donors, SMC members, Alumni ete.Tree guards may be provided to the saplings to ensure better survival rate
Debates, discussions Quiz, Elocution, spot painting and drawing competitions at school, Mandel and district level. Suitable awards may be given for winners of these competitions.
The students and teachers are not to be sent out of the school for tell us, public functions, etc. as it is adversely affecting the school instructional time and academic performance of students.
