The attention of all the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio
Project Coordinators of RMSA in the State is invited to the reference read
above, wherein they are informed that the orders have been issued to
commence the Self Defence Training Programme to Girls students in 6367
schools including Govt. MPPUPs, ZPHS, KGBVs and Model Schools for
classes 8th and 9th and 11th and 12th Standard from 1.12.2017 for the
year 2018-19 through the Selected Self Defense Agencies to empower their
self defensive mechanism through learning martial arts.

The major aim of introducing martial arts is not only to know various self protection techniques but also to attain physical fitness and sound mind.

Further the Self Defense training programme is being implemented in
all 13 Districts.

AP రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న అన్ని యాజమాన్య పాఠశాలల యందు 2018-19 సం.లో విద్యనభ్యసిస్తున్న 8, 9 మరియు 11, 12 తరగతి చదువుచున్న విద్యార్థుల కొరకు రూపొందించబడిన “స్వీయ సంరక్షణ” కార్యక్రమ అమలుకై జిల్లా మరియు రాష్ట్ర స్థాయిలో కమిటీలో ఏర్పాటు చేస్తూ డీఈవోలకు సర్క్యులర్ పంపిన పాఠశాల విద్యాశాఖ కమీషనర్ వారు as per RC No: 1146 Dated: 07-01-19.

మోనటరింగ్ చేయబడు జిల్లా, రాష్ట్ర స్థాయిలో కమిటీ సభ్యుల వివరాలు, యాక్షన్ ప్లాన్ మరియు నెలవారీ హాజరు నమోదు పత్రం జతచేయబడినది.

A detailed action plan for implementing the Self defense
programme along with roles and responsibilities of all the stakeholders
involved in the programme have already been communicated in the reference read above.

In continuation of the roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders
mentioned, it is further decided that the District Educational Officers & Ex-
Officio Project Coordinators of RMSA of all 13 Districts shall hold the
responsibility of monitoring the programme at District level and send the attendance of the trainers on monthly basis and a field observation report on every fort night. The monitoring and field observation shall be conducted through the DyEOs of RMSA.

In this connection, a State level Core Committee and a District level
Committee has been constituted with the following.
