AP Public Services APSESS - Filled the posts of School Assistant (Telugu), (Hindi) and (Physical Education) arose due to up gradation of posts of Language Pandits of (Telugu), (Hindi) and Physical Education Teachers Conducting the promotion counseling to the eligible teachers of concerned feeder categories - Counting of seniority in the cadre of School Assistant - for the purpose of the next promotion-Certain Instructions Issued as per Rc.No. 1639/A3/18 Dated: 20-03-2020
In pursuance of instructions issued in the reference first to third read above, posts of Language Pandit (Telugu) (Hindi) and Physical Education Teachers were upgraded as School Assistant (Telugu), (Hindi) and (Physical Education). Such upgraded posts i.e, School Assistant Posts of (Telugu), (Hindi) and (Physical Education) were filled by way promotion duly counseling to the eligible teachers of concerned feeder categories. In order to avoid hardship of teachers who were attended for promotion counseling and for administrative convenience promotion counseling was conducted on two different dates and orders of promotion were issued to the concerned teachers viz., School Assistant (Telugu) on 01-11-2019 and School Assistant (Hindi) and (Physical Education) on 03-11-2019 in the references fourth , fifth and sixth read above respectively.
Accordingly, the teachers who have got promotion were relieved from their old stations and joined the news stations in the promotion posts. While the things stood thus, in the reference 7th read above, The Hindi Teachers Union, Prakasam District unit submitted representation stating that , due to issue of promotion orders to the above said upgrade posts of Schools Assistants on different dates the senior teachers who were joined the service during the year 2002 going to become juniors in cadre of School Assistant, to the teachers who were joined the service during the year 2003 and 2004. Therefore, requested to issue certain orders considering the seniority in the feeder category duly restoring the same in the cadre of School Assistant.
The representations in the reference seventh and eighth read above, is examined and the District Educational Officer, Ongole, Prakasam District is pleased to issue the following orders in connection with the seniority in the cadre of School Assistant pertaining to the teachers who were promoted to the posts of upgraded School Assistants (Telugu), (Hindi) and (Physical Education).
(i)The date of promotion in the cadre of School Assistant (Telugu), (Hindi) and (Physical Education) in respect of the teachers who were promoted to the above said posts will be counted from 01-11-2019 i.e, from the date on which promotion counseling was conducted and orders were issued to the post School Assistant (Telugu), only in order to count seniority for further promotion i.e., to the post of Headmaster Grade-It.
(ii)The monitory benefit in the promotion post i.e, School Assistant (Telugu), (Hindi) and (Physical Education) has to be taken from the date joining in the promotion post.
All the Mandal Educational Officers, Headmasters of High Schools and Deputy Educational Officers in the District are requested to act according to the instructions issued above.
