1. In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued orders for notification of Employees Health Scheme (EHS) intended to provide cashless medical treatment to the State Government Employee /Pensioners and their dependent family members in empanelled network hospitals. Government for review the implementation of Employees Health Scheme (EHS), from time to time and to make appropriate recommendations for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the scheme, have decided to constitute a Steering Committee under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary to Government with 40% members from employees and pensioners associations, and 60% members from Government.
2. Accordingly, in the G.O.s 2nd & 3rd read above, Government have constituted the following Steering Committee under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary to Government, with the following members:

In the G.O.s 5th & 6th read above, the Government accorded recognition to the “Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Association (APGEA)” for the purpose of enabling of its members to make representations regarding their conditions of service and matters pertaining thereto redressal and also accorded permanent membership on Andhra Pradesh Civil Services Joint Staff Council (State Level).
4. Now, in the reference 8th read above the President, A.P. Government Employees Association has requested the Government to issue necessary orders for including/ inserting their Association into the representatives of employees side in the Steering Committee constituted for framing the guidelines for implementing the Employees Health Scheme.
5. In the G.O. 9th read above, the Government have revised the ratio of 40:60 as 50:50 in respect of the members of employees/ pensioners associations and Government in the composition of the Steering Committee.
6. Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby include the President, Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Association (APGEA)' as representative of employees side and also nominate ‘Principal Secretary, PR & RD Department' as representative of Officials side in the Steering Committee constituted vide G.O. 3rd read above to review the implementation of the Employees Health Scheme (EHS) from time to time.
