NOTIFICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO INTERMEDIATE IN A.P. RESIDENTIAL JUNIOR COLLEGES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR-2021-22

The first A.P. Residential Junior College was established by theAPREI Society in the year 1975 at Nagarjuna Sagar, Guntur District with an objective to provide quality education for the talented children. Subsequently number of colleges were established as per the demand from the public. Presently, 

The APREI Society is managing 10 Residential Junior Colleges and the details are as follows:

APR Junior Colleges: -

• All the APR Junior Colleges are maintaining in Residential pattern.

• Individual attention is being paid on each student

• Every student will be under the control of a Loco Parent, holds the parental responsibility of 20 students by each Junior Lecturer of the College.

• Long term Coaching is provided to students for exams like IIT/NEET/CA-CPT. Education is imparted through Digital Classes also whenever necessary.

• Day break will start with the physical exercises, Classes will commence at 8.00am and the academic activities will continue till

• 10.00 PM.

Admission at all APR Junior Colleges:

There are good infrastructure facilities in addition to well-equipped laboratories, libraries, reading rooms and play grounds with well-equipped physical education dept. The colleges offer free education besides free boarding and lodging to all the selected candidates. Special care is being taken for talented and low achievers. Loco parental system is adopted to look after and to guide the students.

Special fee and examination fee:

Special fee and examination fee will be collected as per the rate prescribed by BIE, AP Vijayawada. Caution deposit of Rs 25/- per year will be collected at the time of admission.

Maintenance charges:

Maintenance charges Rs.1000/- will be collected at the time of admission for 1st year and Rs 1000/- in the 2nd year.

Date of Drawl of lots: The draw will be in the last week of July 2021 as per the decision to be taken by the Chairman, Regional selection Committee.

ELIGIBILITY:

i. Candidate must be a resident of India and must have studied

in Andhra Pradesh only.

ii. Must have studied X class only for the academic year 2020-21. Candidates who studied in early years are not eligible.

RESERVATIONS:

1. SC:15%, ST:06%, BC-A: 7 %, BC-B:10%, BC-C:1%, BC-D:7%, BC-E:4%

2. Spl. category Reservation: PHC:3%, Sports:3% CAP (Children of Armed Personnel):3%

CRITERIA FOR ALLOTMENT OF SEATS UNDER SPECIAL RESERVATION CATEGORY:

i. Under PHC category, seats will be allotted to the candidates who will be selected in drawl of lots among the PHC candidates and the minimum disability is 40%.

ii. Under Sports category, seats will be allotted to the candidates who will be selected in drawl of lots among the sports category.

iii. Under CAP (Children of Armed Personnel) category, the parent of the candidate must be an ex-service or presently in defense service. 

The seats will be allotted to the candidates who will be selected in drawl of lots. NCC candidates are not eligible under CAP category.
